I had a fabulous weekend at the Ames Boston Hotel. From the beautiful suite with stunning arched windows to the friendly staff, everything exceeded my expectations. The location was unbeatable, right on the Freedom Trail, making it easy to explore iconic sights. However, while the ambiance in the Woodward restaurant was lively, I found the continental breakfast to be a little underwhelming.

My suite was spacious and modern, featuring clean lines and high-end toiletries that added a luxurious touch. The bathroom was equipped with a lovely shower and a deep tub, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. I was especially pleased with the impressive views right from my room.

Being just a few minutes away from Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall made it so convenient to explore Boston. Plus, being right on the Freedom Trail meant I could easily visit historic attractions without needing a car.
Dining

While my experience at the Woodward restaurant was enjoyable with trendy cocktails, I found the continental breakfast a bit mediocre and lacking in variety. I expected more given the high standards set by the rest of the hotel.

The modern design of the hotel, combined with its historical charm, created a unique atmosphere that I really appreciated. However, the restaurant's limited breakfast options were a disappointment compared to the overall level of the facilities.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Ames Boston Hotel. The building itself is an architectural gem, and my room was both beautiful and comfortable. The location couldn't be better, just steps away from iconic spots like Faneuil Hall. However, I found the price of bottled water from Norway a bit excessive. I'm glad I opted for the tap water instead.

My room was spacious and beautifully decorated with a modern touch. I appreciated the separate living area and bedroom in the suite, as well as the clever use of space. Plus, the glass shower added a sleek feel, though I was glad to see curtains for privacy.

I had a pleasant three-night stay at the Ames Boston Hotel, enjoying the hotel's excellent central location and the friendliness of the staff. Yet, some things, like the breakfast and room prices, fell short of expectations. While the modern decor and cleanliness were notable, the noise from street construction made for a somewhat disruptive experience.
Rooms

The room was well-equipped and clean. though it was on the smaller side, which might be a consideration for longer stays.

My stay at the Ames Boston Hotel was generally good, highlighted by its stylish decor and excellent downtown location. While the rooms were modern and clean, I did encounter a few issues with the hairdryer and the noise from the metro. Overall, the combination of convenience, comfort, and friendly service makes this hotel a solid choice for a Boston getaway.

I had a really enjoyable stay at the Ames Boston Hotel, thanks to its excellent location and quirky, stylish feel. The service was fantastic, and I appreciated the friendly demeanor of the staff. However, my room wasn’t as clean as I expected and I had trouble finding the breakfast area, which detracted a bit from my experience.
Rooms

While the room was minimalistic and stylish, it did have some dust and crumbs upon arrival. The shower floor was quite slippery, which was a bit of a concern. Overall, I liked the modern European decor and appreciated the quietness of my corner room on a higher floor.

I enjoyed having a continental breakfast available, but I missed it one morning and found it confusing to locate. An improved signage in the lobby could have helped clarify where it was. Nevertheless, I was pleased that coffee and pastries were still available later.
Facilities

The hotel features a nice lounge with great drinks and live music, as well as a well-equipped workout room. However, I wish I had noticed the business center on the 3rd floor prior to needing it.
